Job summary

Segi Fresh - Retails is expanding its store leadership team in Malaysia. The Floor Manager will oversee daily operations, manage receiving and stock control, and ensure promotional execution while maintaining a clean, well-displayed store aligned with SOPs.

Candidates should demonstrate leadership, be able to supervise a team, and be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in a dynamic fresh-food retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth business performance.
• Manage receiving of goods and verify quantity and quality from suppliers.
• Monitor stock levels including low stock, Out of Stock (OOS), near expiry and expired items.
• Conduct stock take, cycle count and stock adjustments when necessary.
• Ensure accurate price updates and proper execution of weekly/monthly promotions.
• Maintain store layout according to planogram and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized.
• Manage cash handling processes including opening float, closing counter and bank-in procedures.
• Prepare and update daily sales and stock reports.
• Handle damaged goods, returns and disposal according to company procedures.
• Conduct regular floor walk to monitor store condition and staff performance.
• Ensure overall store cleanliness and compliance with SOP.
