Job summary

EPS Malaysia is seeking a Transport Coordinator to plan and oversee daily transport activities in Malaysia. You will schedule vehicles, deploy drivers, arrange deliveries and coordinate with customers and internal teams to meet schedules.

The role requires coordinating drivers and vehicles, overseeing loading/unloading operations, and ensuring safety and compliance. Strong Excel skills and a valid driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in transportation, fleet management or logistics operations.
• Experience coordinating drivers, vehicles and daily transport activities.
• Comfortable overseeing on-site loading/unloading and transport operations.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to operational sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily transport operations, including vehicle scheduling, driver deployment and delivery arrangements.
• Supervise drivers and ensure transportation activities are carried out safely, efficiently and according to schedule.
• Oversee load optimization, arrange and sequence deliveries based on operational requirements, routes and scheduled delivery times.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, suppliers and external parties on transportation requirements and schedules.
• Monitor vehicle movements, delivery status and driver performance to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle day-to-day transport issues such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, route changes and other operational matters.
• Monitor vehicle condition, servicing and maintenance schedules to ensure fleet availability.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, driver activities and transportation documentation.
• Ensure drivers comply with company SOPs, safety requirements and relevant transport regulations.
• Assist in monitoring transport costs and identifying opportunities to improve fleet utilisation and operational efficiency.
