Job summary

Meritar Supply Chain Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail‑oriented operations professional to support vehicle data management and driver coordination in Tanjong Malim. You will develop data sheets to record trip counts, mileage and fuel usage, synthesize insights, and help reduce waste in vehicle operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling vehicles per production plans, monitoring real-time conditions, improving utilization, and reconciling billing with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in recording and analyzing vehicle operation data (trip counts, mileage, fuel consumption).
• Ability to synthesize data, manage drivers, and eliminate waste in vehicle operations.
• Strong scheduling skills to allocate vehicles per production plans.
• Familiarity with vehicle inspections, insurance, toll processing.
• Fluent English communication with Chinese colleagues.

Develop vehicle operation data management sheets to record and track metrics such as trip counts, mileage, and fuel consumption;

Regularly synthesize and analyze vehicle data, manage drivers, and eliminate waste throughout vehicle operations;

Schedule and allocate vehicles rationally in accordance with customers' production plans;

Monitor real-time vehicle operating conditions;

Improve vehicle utilization and submit actionable recommendations;

Handle and escalation abnormal incidents;

Verify delivery receipts submitted by vehicle suppliers and reconcile billing statements with them.

Familiar with procedures for vehicle annual inspection, insurance and road toll processing;

well‑acquainted with traffic routes in Tanjung Malim and surrounding areas

• Experienced in the operation modes of flatbed trucks and wing‑body trucks, proficient in covering cargo with tarpaulins for flatbed trucks, and aware of vehicle fuel‑consumption levels
• Possess solid driving skills, strong safety awareness and service mindset; physically fit, upright, dependable and proactive at work
• No disciplinary records of misconduct

Fluent in English for barrier‑free communication with Chinese colleagues.
