Job summary
Pyrogen Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the installation, testing and commissioning of fire suppression systems across Malaysia and the region. You will oversee site activities from survey to handover, coordinate with clients and trades, and support product testing with the R&D team.
Fresh graduates are welcome and training is provided. Readiness to travel within Malaysia and working on-site is expected, with familiarity in door fan testing and AutoCAD as advantages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Fire Protection) or related field.
- Fresh graduates welcome; on-site training provided.
- Exposure to fire protection systems or M&E projects is a plus.
- Proficiency with reading engineering drawings; AutoCAD is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation by in-house technicians and subcontractors according to drawings and standards.
- Coordinate with clients, main contractors and suppliers on schedules and interfaces.
- Perform room integrity tests (door fan) and identify leakage paths.
- Carry out functional testing and commissioning of system components.
- Support authority submissions and client witness tests (e.g., BOMBA).
- Assist with maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of installed systems.
- Provide client training on system operation and emergency procedures.
