Job summary

Alibaba Cloud is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to oversee fire protection systems across sites and ensure safety compliance. The role drives inspections, corrective actions, trainings, and incident investigations to maintain safe and reliable facility operations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of fire safety management experience, with strong knowledge of fire protection standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1+ year of relevant fire safety management experience in a large enterprise/data center.
• Solid understanding of fire protection standards and data center fire safety.
• Familiarity with local fire safety laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect fire protection systems across sites and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Develop regional fire safety inspection checklists and corrective action tracking.
• Deliver fire safety training to on-site personnel and organize drills.
• Monitor compliance status and produce periodic reports.
• Lead incident investigations and develop root cause analyses and preventive actions.
• Review maintenance plans and test reports related to fire safety.
