Job summary

JAYA GEMILANG M&E SDN BHD is seeking a draftsman to produce detailed layouts for fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, hoses and pumps. You will update drawings based on engineer markups and site feedback, working both independently and as part of a team.

Applicants should have at least 1 year in a similar role and a certificate in drafting or related engineering technology. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years experience in a similar draftsman role, preferably in the fire fighting system industry.
• Certificate in drafting, civil/electrical engineering technology, or a related field is often required.
• The ability to create technical drawings for fire detection and protection systems, including fire hydrant, sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is often required.
• Prepare detailed layouts for fire sprinklers, wet/dry risers, hydrants, hose reels, foam systems, deluge systems, and fire pumps.
• Update drawings based on engineer markups, site inspection feedback, or authority review comments.
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
