Job summary

TradingPRO in Malaysia is seeking a junior to intermediate backend developer to design and maintain services using PHP (Laravel) or JavaScript, and to integrate third-party APIs for payments, social logins, and data services.

You will collaborate with frontend colleagues, create and consume RESTful APIs, manage MySQL databases, and write clean, well-documented code while helping optimize performance and scalability in a collaborative, growth‑minded team.

Qualifications

• Level: Junior to intermediate
• Experience in backend development or similar role
• Familiarity with PHP/Laravel or JavaScript stack

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel) or JavaScript.
• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, social logins, external data services).
• Create and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external systems.
• Work with frontend developers to ensure data flow and functionality across the stack.
• Collaborate with team to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Manage databases and write efficient queries (MySQL).
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
