Job summary

Finexus Group is seeking an Accountant to safeguard the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations. You will maintain reliable records, manage taxes, and ensure statutory compliance to support sound decision-making.

You will handle daily settlements, reconciliations, and full-set accounting (GL, AP, AR), liaise with auditors, banks, and tax agents, and contribute to internal controls and timely reporting for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) preferred.
• 2–3 years of audit or accounting experience.
• Experience with full accounting cycle and reconciliations.
• Exposure to e-money/fintech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily settlements, reconciliations, and full-set accounting entries (GL, AP, AR).
• Prepare depreciation, hire-purchase interest, term-loan interest, and other journal entries.
• Review financial reports and data entries for accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and financial institutions to maintain compliance.
• Establish and maintain internal-control procedures and drive process improvements.
