Job summary

Samtec Asia Pacific (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to verify BOM accuracy and inspect dimensions using standard equipment. You will input findings into the QA system and support procedure development to meet quality objectives.

Responsibilities include maintaining records and ensuring conformance to engineering drawings and quality specs. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of inspection techniques, materials, equipment and Samtec systems.
• Conformance to established quality specifications from drawings, sketches, manuals or prototypes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections performed.

Responsibilities

• Compare BOM parts lists or material part numbers to ensure completion of orders.
• Verify specified dimensions on product or material using inspection equipment.
• Input quality findings into Samtec’s quality system.
• Assist in creation and design of QA procedures and programs to achieve department objectives.
• Ensure compliance with QA procedures to maintain consistent inspection criteria.
