Job summary

MVC Resources seeks an experienced finance leader to direct the organization’s financial management and strategic planning from its Kuala Lumpur base. You will oversee all accounting and finance operations, ensuring robust controls, precise statutory reporting, and timely regulatory submissions.

You will liaise with Bank Negara Malaysia and regulators, advising business leaders on financial, regulatory, and strategic matters while developing a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory frameworks in financial services.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to influence decision-makers.
• Proven leadership and a track record of driving team performance.
• Experience in general insurance industry is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall financial management and strategic planning of the organization.
