Job summary

Private Advertiser, a Malaysia-listed corporate group spanning Construction, Property Development and Facilities Management, seeks an exceptional finance leader to spearhead Group Finance. Reporting to Senior Management, you will drive financial performance, governance and strategic value creation across diversified operations.

You will build a high-performing finance team, oversee consolidation, budgeting, treasury, and compliance with MFRS and Bursa Malaysia, while providing commercial advice

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• At least 3–5 years leading an accounting and finance functions.
• Listed company experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Group reporting, consolidation, taxation and treasury.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience within construction, property development, engineering or diversified groups will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Group Finance and Accounting functions.
• Oversee financial reporting, Group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, business planning and financial modelling.
• Manage treasury, banking facilities, working capital and cash flow.
• Develop financial strategies to support business expansion and corporate initiatives.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls and enterprise risk management.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, company secretary, bankers and regulatory authorities.
• Provide commercial and strategic financial advice to Senior Management.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
