Job summary

DIC (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a capable Finance & Accounting professional to drive financial analysis, budgeting, costing, and reporting across the organization.

You will evaluate performance, manage risks, ensure compliance, and push continuous improvement in SSC service delivery using SAP Hana, Power BI and advanced Excel. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance and Accounting or professional certifications such as CFA or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that all business activities are conducted in compliance with DIC Way, Group CSR and Kaizen policies.
• Financial analysis of revenue, expenses, profit margins, and cash flow.
• Budgeting and forecasting to support planning and decision-making.
• Costing and pricing: enforce standard cost policies.
• Reporting and presentation of variances and financial health to management.
• Risk management: identify and mitigate market, credit, and liquidity risks.
• Performance evaluation across departments, products, and services for resource optimization.
• Compliance: ensure financial reporting complies with legal/regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of SSC service delivery, review processes, and optimize automation.
• Carry out other duties as requested by management.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure that all business activities are conducted and compliant with areas outlined in the DIC Way, Group CSR and Kaizen policies to allow DIC to fulfill its corporate and social responsibilities.

Financial analysis: Conducting financial analysis to assess the financial performance of the company, including revenue, expenses, profit margins, and cash flow.

Budgeting and forecasting: Creating and managing financial budgets and forecasts to help businesses plan for the future and make informed decisions.

Costing and Pricing: Support and update standard cost process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.

Reporting and presentation: Preparing financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders to provide insights into variances to budget and the financial health of the company.

Risk management: Identifying and analyzing financial risks, including market volatility, credit risk, and liquidity risk, and making recommendations to mitigate these risks.

Performance evaluation: Evaluating the financial performance of different departments, products, and services to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.

Compliance: Ensuring that financial reporting and analysis comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Drive functional excellence and continuous improvement of SSC service delivery by increasing productivity, constantly review process improvements, and optimize automation opportunities to facilitate the implementation of high quality and effective new services for improved efficiencies.

Other duties as requested by management that are consistent with the nature of the position and/or seniority & experience.

KEY CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

Degree in Finance and Accounting or professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are preferred.

Possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of manufacturing costs and financial concepts and tools.

Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial data and insights to different stakeholders;

Results oriented, well-organized, and detailed-conscious, has good problem-solving and project management skills.

Good people management, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated the ability to work with people at any level in an organization.

Multi-tasking capability with strong analytical skills.

Strong working knowledge of SAP Hana, Power BI and advanced excel skills required.
