Job summary

SUN PHARMA is seeking a motivated Finance Trainee under the PROTÉGÉ Programme in Kuala Lumpur. You will support daily accounting tasks, financial reporting, and month-end close with exposure to accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and compliance.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and teamwork, with hands-on learning across the finance function and collaboration with internal departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing invoices, staff claims, and payment requests.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare journal entries and update accounting records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and analysis.
• Maintain accurate finance documents and filing.
• Assist in audit preparation and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments on finance matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
