Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Finance Leader to oversee financial operations, reporting, and strategic management for the Group. You will drive monthly, quarterly and annual closing and consolidation, manage treasury, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead the Finance team to deliver high-quality reporting and analysis.

The role requires strong expertise in group reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and effective communication with executives.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA or MIA is an added advantage.
Experience in a public-listed company and exposure to Bursa Malaysia requirements is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and Group consolidation.
Review management accounts, financial statements and financial reports.
Prepare management, EXCO and Board reports, including financial analysis and variance reporting.
Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections and financial planning.
Manage treasury matters, banking facilities, financing and relationships with financial institutions.
Support corporate exercises, fundraising, due diligence and related financial requirements.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting, tax, SST, Customs and other statutory requirements.
Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including GL, AR, AP, reconciliations and working capital management.
Coordinate annual audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, Company Secretary and external advisers.
Lead, supervise and develop the Finance team.
