Job summary

Air Liquide Business Services Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur, seeks a Finance Project Manager to drive global/local projects using Lean and Six Sigma approaches. You will manage stakeholder expectations, optimize finance processes, and partner with PMO and Global Process Owners.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, resource planning, and delivering improvements that enable business growth while maintaining strong controls and compliance. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree with 10+ years in project management and process transformation.
• Advanced degree with at least 8 years of experience.
• Minimum 10 years PM experience in process transformation and ERP implementation.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management; ability to influence decisions.
• Analytical skills to identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to train and coach others.
• Advanced Google Suite or MS Office skills incl. Excel/PowerPoint.
• Self-driven, outcomes-oriented performer.
• Proven success initiating changes and influencing at all levels.
• Fluent in local language and proficient in English.

The Finance Project Manager (GBS) will execute global or local project management through the use of Continuous Improvement methodologies, strong stakeholder management and expertise to address critical business needs with the goal of improving business processes through process transformation, process automation, saving cost, and enabling business growth. The Black Belt will identify different options and gain approval and/or support for best alternatives from the Project Sponsor, Deployment Leader / program director and managers who will be engaged in project implementation.

Leads/Drives process transformation/improvement projects, delivers timely results, tracks improvements, ensures control, and maintains accountability.

Seeks out and quantifies process-improvement opportunities within Finance processes.

Assesses/identifies risk to fulfill the defined objectives.

Identifies organizational barriers; works with Deployment Leaders (Continuous improvement Lead), respective functional managers, PMO or Global Process Owner to recommend and implement solutions.

Assesses/critiques resources for transformation/ continuous improvement projects.

Participates in the project selection process, determines benefits, recommends resources/team members.

Organizes, plans, reviews, & communicates status of projects managed.

Trains/mentors project team members in the DMAIC and 7 Step methodologies.

Models operational excellence, visibly demonstrating leadership/change management behaviors.

Networks with internal/external resources to bring best practices to the projects/organization.

Work with PMO and program director in Support to strategic projects

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 to 12 years of professional experience
• or advanced degree with minimum of than 8 years experience
• Adequate project management work experience required, minimum 10 years, handling process transformation and ERP implementation
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management; demonstrated skills to influence decision makes and motivate team members
• Strong analytical skills to identify improvement opportunities
• Excellent verbal/written communication skill is must to train and coach others
• Advanced skills in Google Suite (preferred) or MS office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project (is a plus)
• Self –driven, outcomes oriented performer
• Proven success initiating changes and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Fluent in local language and capable in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree preferred Black Belt Trained and Certified Supervisory experience is mandatory
