Job summary

Hiredly X is seeking an Assistant Manager – Finance in Malaysia to support the Head of Finance, Risk & Credit in overseeing accounting, reporting, treasury, credit management, budgeting, cash flow planning and regulatory compliance.

You will lead the finance team, review settlement reports with Visa and Mastercard, and assist with audits and tax matters. The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance, MIA membership, and 3+ years of relevant experience, with 1+ year in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Member of MIA is required.
• Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, MICPA) or finalist is encouraged.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Prior experience in the payment/fintech industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and Malaysian tax regulations.
• Experience with UBS accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Meticulous with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage finance operations: accounting, reporting, treasury, credit, budgeting, cashflow and compliance.
• Lead the finance team and partner with Head of Finance; shape risk & credit strategy.
• Handle Visa & Mastercard settlements; support audits and tax.
