Job summary

Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) offers an internship in the Finance Operations Unit to support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. You will help process invoices, enter data into the accounting system, and ensure compliance with SOPs and policies. Qualifications include a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, and a brief internship duration.

Malaysian students only. This role provides general office support and the opportunity to gain practical experience

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• Internship duration should be indicated on the resume.
• University letter for placement may be required.
• This internship is open to Malaysian students only.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and ensure supporting documents and approvals are complete.
• Key-in/integrate invoices into accounting system and assign correct Spend Category.
• Process payments to creditors within SLA after documentation.
• Handle accounts receivable: issue invoices and record receipts.
• Enter data accurately in company systems and correct inconsistencies.
• Provide general office support and assist Finance Department tasks.
