Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Finance Professional – Accounting Operations in Malaysia. You will support cash and banking processes, perform month-end closes, and reconcile bank records, ensuring timely postings and accurate reporting across functions.

Role requires 2–4 years in General/Cash Accounting, SAP/Oracle experience is a plus, and strong communication with analytical attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA required.
• 2-4 years' experience in General Accounting or Cash Accounting.
• Experience in Shared Services; SAP/Oracle knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing activities and post journal entries.
• Review bank reconciliations for Cash and Bank accounts.
• Ensure timely posting of bank transactions across functions.
• Prepare and run reports for month-end deadlines.
• Identify and address backlog issues to complete daily tasks.
• Assist external and internal audits with necessary information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial activities.
• Support ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.
