Job summary

GuocoLand Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the financial management of its development projects. The role focuses on property development finance, accounting, and related audit exposure, with emphasis on strategic financial oversight.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will partner with senior leadership on project performance, cash flow, financial reporting, and business decisions across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience in financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.
• Understanding of property development accounting and project financial reporting.
• Experience gained within a property development company and/or through audit engagements involving property development clients.

We're looking for a finance professional with experience in property development finance, property development accounting, or audit exposure to property development clients to oversee the financial management of development projects.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll work closely with senior leadership to support project performance, cash flow management, financial reporting and business decision-making across the development lifecycle.

This role is well suited for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager ready for broader responsibilities, a Finance Manager seeking greater ownership and exposure, or audit professionals looking to transition into a commercial finance leadership role.

• Exposure to residential property development projects will be an advantage
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or MICPA will be a plus
