Job summary

JAC Recruitment International is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a manufacturing environment in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will lead financial reporting, accounting operations and internal controls, partnering with business stakeholders to deliver insights, support budgeting, and ensure compliance with accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least five years' experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and a results‑oriented, detail‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent, results oriented and detail-conscious with a strong sense of accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.
• Manage full sets of accounts, including financial statement preparation and tax reporting.
• Handle accounting, audit, and tax matters, liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls within manufacturing operations, including inventory and scrap management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments as required by management.
