Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee core accounting, taxation, and financial reporting across a portfolio of entities.

You will lead full-spectrum financial operations, support project feasibility assessments, and maintain rigorous internal controls to optimize profitability. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with a recognised professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA) and at least 5 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or recognised professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA).
• Experience of 5+ years in accounting/finance, preferably in construction, property development or engineering sectors.
• Excellent English, Malay and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial oversight, accounting and taxation across entities with monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Prepare group consolidations, management reports and variance analyses for leadership.
• Oversee audits, corporate tax planning, tax filing and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct project financial feasibility studies and cash flow analyses; implement robust internal controls.
• Interface with banking partners, tax consultants, auditors, and key supply chain vendors.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the accounting team.

Job description

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee core accounting, taxation, and financial reporting across our portfolio of construction entities. In this dynamic role, you will lead full-spectrum financial operations, guide project financial feasibility, maintain stringent internal controls, and manage multi-entity group consolidations. Working closely with executive leadership and operational teams, you will play a critical role in optimizing project profitability and maintaining robust financial health.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight & Closing: Manage full-spectrum accounting and taxation functions across assigned entities, ensuring rigorous and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closures.

Group Consolidation & Reporting: Prepare accurate group account consolidations, monthly management reports, detailed financial schedules, and variance analyses for leadership review.

Taxation, Audit & Compliance: Oversee statutory audits, corporate tax planning, tax filing, and full compliance with relevant statutory authorities and industry financial regulations.

Project Feasibility & Internal Controls: Conduct project financial feasibility studies, cost-to-complete analyses, and cash flow evaluations. Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures across entities.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for banking partners, tax consultants, external auditors, and key supply chain vendors.

Team Leadership & Support: Provide strategic financial guidance, mentorship, and daily operational support to the internal accounting team.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a recognized professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification accounting and finance experience, with a strong preference for candidates with direct exposure to the construction, property development, or engineering sectors.

Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese to effectively interface with local and international stakeholders.

Audit Background: Solid hands‑on background in statutory audits, group consolidation, and complex financial reporting standards.

Core Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, cost analysis, internal risk management, and statutory tax frameworks.
