Job summary

Paramount Asphalt Sdn Bhd, founded in 2017, operates in the production and distribution of asphalt premix and related construction materials with plants in Penang and Ipoh. The role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, cashflow management, and regulatory liaison to maintain healthy governance and compliance.

The candidate should hold a Diploma in a related field, with ACCA/CIMA partial qualification an advantage, and have at least 8 years of experience including 3 years in a managerial

Qualifications

• Diploma in related disciplines (minimum)
• Partial professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA is an advantage
• At least 8 years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years in a managerial position
• Strong and sharp analytical skills with good judgment

Responsibilities

• Timely production of Monthly Financial Reports in accordance to GAAP and related analyses
• Preparation of Annual Budget and implementation of Budgetary Control to enhance cost efficiency
• Preparation of Cashflow Forecast and Cashflow Management to achieve healthy cashflow position
• Liaison with financial institutions for funding requirements (capital investment or working capital)
• Preparation of Tax Estimates and Compliance per Tax Laws and Regulations
• Liaison with authorities, auditors, tax agents and company secretary as needed
• Ensure Internal Control is implemented across the company and governance is upheld

Job description

Timely production of Monthly Financial Reports in accordance to General Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP) and any incidental and analysis reports

Preparation of Annual Budget and implementation of Budgetary Control to enhance cost efficiency and effectiveness

Preparation of Cashflow Forecast and Cashflow Management to achieve healthy cashflow position of the company

Liaison with financial institutions for funding requirement either for capital investment or working capital

Preparation of Tax Estimates and Compliance in accordance to Tax Laws, Rules and Regulations, Guidelines and Public Rulings

Liaison with any relevant authorities if necessary and any external parties such as auditor, tax agent and company secretary

Ensure the implementation of Internal Control across the company and uphold good governance

Requirements

At least Diploma in related/relevant disciplines

Partial Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA is an advantage

At least 8 years of relevant working experiences with minimum 3 years in managerial position

Strong and sharp analytical skills and able to exercise common sense
