Job summary

ACCA Careers seeks a high-performing Finance Manager to lead the finance function and partner with Management in driving business performance. The role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, planning, compliance, treasury, stakeholder management and process improvement within a dynamic corporate environment.

You will manage budgeting, group consolidation, statutory reporting and external audits while strengthening internal controls and governance.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent) is advantageous.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience with full sets of accounts, group consolidation and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of full sets of accounts and group consolidation.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.
• Coordinate external audits, tax matters and regulatory reporting.
• Build relationships with stakeholders including Management, auditors and regulators.
• Drive internal controls, governance and financial risk management.
• Lead finance process improvements and system enhancements.
• Lead and develop the finance team and support strategic initiatives.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments and special projects.

We are looking for a high-performing Finance Manager to lead our finance function and partner with Management in driving business performance. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, planning, compliance, treasury, stakeholder management, and process improvement within a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of full sets of accounts, group consolidation and timely financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits, tax matters and regulatory reporting.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Management, auditors, tax agents, bankers, regulators and business units.
• Strengthen internal controls, corporate governance and financial risk management.
• Drive finance process improvements, system enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team while supporting strategic business initiatives.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments, special projects and other responsibilities as assigned to support evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Hands-on experience in full sets of accounts, group consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting.
• PLC experience is highly preferred; manufacturing industry exposure is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, budgeting, treasury, internal controls and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (UBS experience is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
