Fulijaya Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. invites an experienced Management Accountant to steer strategic financial planning and reporting for a public listed Malaysia company. You will oversee budgeting, forecasts, and performance analysis to enable informed decision-making by senior management.
This role requires CIMA membership, 10–15 years in management accounting, strong knowledge of MFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements, SAP proficiency, and a proven track record in cost management and leadership.
To provide strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the management and operations of a public listed company in Malaysia. The Management Accountant will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, drive cost efficiency, and deliver value-added financial insights to enable informed decision‑making by senior management.
Key responsibilities
Develop and oversee the company's annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, highlighting key financial and operational metrics.
Deliver comprehensive performance reviews to the Board and Senior Management.
Lead cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate allocation and tracking of expenses.
Identify and implement strategies to optimize operational costs and improve margins.
Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia's listing requirements, the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), and other relevant regulations.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address audit requirements and findings.
Partner with departmental heads to align financial goals with business strategies.
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
About you
Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Minimum of 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in management accounting role.
Proven track record in financial management within a public listed company.
Experience with Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of MFRS and other regulatory frameworks applicable to public listed companies.
Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
Advanced user of SAP systems and financial reporting tools.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.
