Job summary

TONG SUN NURSERY SDN. BHD. in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a Finance & Management Accounts Executive to support financial operations and strategic decision-making.

You will maintain accurate records, prepare management accounts, and provide insights to drive business performance in a full-time role. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, has at least five years of experience in financial accounting and management accounts, and is proficient in Excel and accounting

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial accounting and management accounts experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards and best practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in records.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger operations.
• Excellent communication to explain financial information to non-accounting stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proactive in problem-solving and process improvement.
• Professional and ethical financial management.
• Preference for ACCA/ICAS candidates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts with accuracy and compliance.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts and reports for decision-making.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with audits and statutory reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and asset verifications.
• Support payroll accounting entries.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements in accounting systems.
