Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of Finance & Accounting experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, costing, taxation, transfer pricing, and Malaysian statutory requirements.
• Manufacturing background. Develop, maintain, and optimize manufacturing costing methodologies, including standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and product profitability reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and PowerBI are advantages.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance and Accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Maintain manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and business performance analysis.
• Partner closely with production, supply chain, and operational teams to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and financial governance.
• Lead audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive finance process improvements, ERP enhancement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop and lead a small Finance team while partnering closely with Management and other departments.
