Job summary

BioFact Life Sdn Bhd, a leading herbal healthcare product distributor in Malaysia, seeks an experienced Finance Leader to drive financial strategy, planning, and controls. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and audits while leading the finance team.

The role requires 8–10 years in accounting/finance with at least 3 years in management, and a strong background in manufacturing or FMCG. Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are highly preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Provide financial advice and insights to support business decisions and growth.
• Oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor budget performance and ensure adherence to financial plans.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow and treasury to ensure liquidity.
• Oversee internal controls and risk management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team and delegate responsibilities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with auditors and authorities.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and reporting improvements.
