Job summary

Atomic Recruitment SEA is seeking a senior finance leader to head the finance function in Malaysia, overseeing FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and internal controls. You will partner with the Country Leadership Team to drive performance, manage cash flow and optimize working capital, while ensuring statutory compliance across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Extensive finance leadership experience within a multinational environment, ideally overseeing multiple legal entities.
• Strong FP&A, commercial finance, financial controlling and business partnering expertise.
• Solid understanding of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, statutory compliance and corporate governance.
• Proven people management experience with stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function, including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Country Leadership Team, providing financial insights to support commercial decisions and business performance.
• Drive P&L performance, cash flow management, working capital optimisation and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory reporting, taxation, audit and corporate governance requirements.
• Oversee financial operations across multiple legal entities, maintaining robust financial controls and risk management practices.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate closely with regional and global finance stakeholders within a matrix reporting structure.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team, building a high-performing and collaborative culture.
