Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Kuala Lumpur offers an Accounting/Finance internship to strengthen attention to detail and stakeholder management while gaining practical experience in the Finance Shared Services field.

You will shadow the Platform Controllership team, assist with Intercompany Pre-agreements and SLA contracts, update trackers, help reconcile Balance Sheets, and upload reconciliations into Cadency. The role includes additional admin tasks as directed and requires at least a 6-month internship.

Qualifications

About the job

This internship will strengthen your attention to detail and stakeholder management as well as your knowledge of the Finance Shared Services industry. He/She is responsible and supports all financial aspects and is driving quality and execution within business unit and ensures SLA & Business KPIs are met.

What you'll do:

• Shadowing members of the Platform Controllership department as they perform their duties.
• Supporting the preparation of Intercompany Pre-agreements, SLA contracts, and related documentation
• Updating and maintaining the Intercompany Pre-agreement tracker
• Assisting in the preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Uploading reconciliations into Cadency
• Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks and other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

What you'll need

• R ecent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s in Accounting , Finance or anything equivalent
• Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Computer literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheet knowledge
• Internship duration at least 6 months or longer
