Job summary

Ground Data Solutions R&D is offering an internship in accounting in Malaysia. You will support accounts payable/receivable, assist in payment processing, and help maintain accurate records with vendor details.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting, proficiency in MS Word/Excel, and communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Open to Malaysian citizens; university internship letter must be attached. Monthly allowance RM1,000.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Excellent in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Malaysian citizens only; university internship letter required.

Responsibilities

• Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist payment processing, including invoice recording, payment voucher and payment execution.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and timely updates of vendor details in the system.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and monthly account reconciliation.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team, such as filing and organizing financial documents.
• Assist superiors in following up with various departments to ensure compliance and timely submissions.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on statutory audit and tax matters.
• Assist the Finance Team in other accounting matters as required by the supervisor.
