Job summary

Acestar Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites you to join our finance team as a Finance Admin Intern. You will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and documentation while working closely with seasoned professionals.

Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, at Bangsar South, with opportunities to participate in tax documentation and financial planning. This internship is designed to train future finance professionals in a fast-paced IT solutions

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Support the finance team in managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Help maintain and organize financial records and files.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Provide support in auditing processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for management.
• Support the finance team in various administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to company policies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to financial discussions and planning.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of tax documents and reports.
• Monitor and track expenses to ensure they align with the budget.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
