Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration.
  • Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and data analysis.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, Alteryx or automation tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Support billing, cash application, customer reconciliations, aging analysis, collections follow-up and intercompany transactions.
  • Payment Operations: Prepare payment proposals, validate supporting documents, support payment processing, bank reconciliations and treasury-related activities.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Review supplier invoices, process transactions, monitor approvals, perform vendor reconciliations, support vendor master maintenance and month-end activities.
  • Fixed Assets (FA): Support asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, reconciliations, asset verification exercises and audit requests.
  • Employee Expense Claims: Review expense claims, validate receipts, process reimbursements and maintain audit-ready documentation.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Finance Intern at MKS Instruments, you will assist with numerous Finance projects or activities from time to time. In this role, you will report to the Finance Shared Service Center Manager SEA.

You Will Make an Impact By:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
  • Support billing, cash application, customer reconciliations, aging analysis, collections follow-up and intercompany transactions.
Payment Operations:
  • Prepare payment proposals, validate supporting documents, support payment processing, bank reconciliations and treasury-related activities.
