Job summary

Sunsuria is seeking a Finance Executive (Property Development) to manage daily accounting and financial operations in Malaysia. The role involves handling banking, payments, AR reconciliations, and periodic CP204 tax estimations, while supporting the preparation of comprehensive management accounts.

You will assist in month-end closing, liaise with bankers, auditors and tax agents, and help with audit and tax schedules. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting/finance/audit experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and finance operations, including banking matters, payment processing, accounts receivable reconciliations, and periodic tax estimations (CP204).
• Assist in preparing full set management accounts, including cash flow statements, income statements, balance sheets, audit schedules, tax schedules, and profit recognition reports.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure financial records and reports are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
• Liaise with internal departments, bankers, auditors, and tax agents on finance, audit, and taxation matters.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation, including drafting supporting schedules and maintaining proper financial documentation and filing systems.
• To perform ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Management from time to time.
