Job summary

Finance Executive (Capital Management / OPEX Planning) position in Malaysia requires 3–5 years in financial accounting within a large corporate/telecom environment. You will support capital management, asset controls, budgeting, and OPEX reporting, while assisting with ERP upgrades and system documentation.

Responsibilities include month-end closing, WIP analysis, UAT participation, and coordinating with business stakeholders for accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within a large corporate organization or the telecommunications industry.
• Experience with Capital Accounting, Fixed Assets or project accounting, OPEX, or budgeting

Our well-established client is MNC specializing in telecommunications and information technology (ICT) industry is looking for a Finance Executive (Capital Management & OPEX) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities :-

Finance Executive – Capital Management

• Conduct weekly reviews of WIP backlog balances and prepare reports for the Finance Manager.


• Support the Finance Manager in ensuring compliance with capital management policies and the Fixed Asset Management Control Framework.


• Support month-end closing activities related to capital management, including WIP reconciliations and reporting.


• Support the implementation of recommendations arising from the End-to-End Review of Capital Management processes.

Finance Executive – OPEX Planning

• Support monthly pre-month-end activities by coordinating with business users and key stakeholders on changes to reporting requirements and processes.


• Monitor reporting outcomes and work closely with business users to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.


• Review financial transactions and prepare accounting journals for posting in liaison with business and commercial stakeholders.


• Prepare month-end review files for the Business and Commercial teams.


• Prepare OPEX reports and BPR packs for management review.


• Support AOP planning and forecasting, including liaising with stakeholders to complete the Annual Operating Plan and outer-year planning.


• Provide support for budget transfers and transformation initiatives.


• Prepare and deliver annual reports and other financial reporting requirements.

Requirements:-
