Job summary

Swancor Ind (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance Executive to support the Finance Supervisor in daily finance and accounting operations in Pasir Gudang. The role covers accounts payable, financial reporting, cash flow management, tax coordination, and audit coordination.

You will assist in monthly closings, prepare management reports, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Experience in cost accounting will be an added advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to use Mandarin in the workplace will be an added advantage.
• Mandarin proficiency is required to liaise with counterparts in Taiwan and China.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in compliance with IFRS/MFRS, MPERS, PRC GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and ad hoc reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare annual audited financial statements.
• Liaise with tax agents on tax computation, queries, and submissions.
• Coordinate with bankers and headquarters finance teams to facilitate effective communication and reporting.
• Prepare monthly cash flow reports and bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier payments and verify invoices accurately and on time.
• Support customer billing and monitor collection of outstanding payments.
• Maintain proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping systems.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by management.
