Job summary

Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an accounting professional to maintain day-to-day accounts for KL-based operations and to support treasury and cash management activities. The role handles the full set of accounts, assists with year-end audits, performs bank reconciliations, and prepares internal reports for management.

You will also work with other branches for reporting and consolidation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a regulated or financial services environment.
• Able to handle full set of accounts, end-to-end understanding of GL and accounting flow
• Strong attention to detail, good with numbers, and comfortable with routine tasks
• Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Trustworthy and discreet when handling financial and confidential information
