Job summary

Holiday Villa Resort & Beachclub Langkawi is seeking a finance professional to oversee monthly reporting, voucher verification, and budget preparation. You will supervise the finance team, ensure adherence to internal controls, and coordinate with auditors.

The role involves supporting government reporting, annual reports, and attendance at management meetings to drive accurate fiscal operations. Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality finance environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Oversee timely monthly financial reporting and closing.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for management.
• Coordinate with auditors during annual audits and statutory reporting.
• Establish and monitor internal controls and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely preparation and submission of monthly reports
• Verify payment vouchers before GM approval
• Review and approve petty cash and OT claims
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual audits
• Prepare yearly budget and monitor variances
• Attend management meetings and assist in government reporting and annual reports
