Job summary

Overland Total Logistic Service (M) Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, seeks an Account & Finance Assistant to support daily finance operations. You will prepare cash flow summaries, manage petty cash, verify vouchers, and process payments with proper approvals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will also handle bank reconciliations, inter-company transfers, and ad hoc reporting, contributing to strong financial controls in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or diploma in finance or accounting
• At least 1 year of related experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of banking and cash management is an added advantage
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development

Responsibilities

• Assist the assistant manager in preparing daily, weekly and monthly cash flow summaries
• Maintain petty cash fund and reconcile expenditures
• Verify payment vouchers with supporting documents
• Prepare cheques, bank remittance forms, or online payments with approvals
• Arrange cheque signatories and obtain approvals for payments
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports
• Coordinate inter-company fund transfers including loans
• Ensure compliance with internal and external procedures and controls
• Prepare ad hoc reports as directed
