Flex, a leading global manufacturer, seeks an Assistant Manager Finance for its Mechanical Plant in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will prepare consolidated financial statements, review journals, and analyze forecast data to support accurate reporting and strategic decisions.

Ideal candidates hold B.Com/B.C.S/M.Com/MBA or equivalent, with 7+ years in finance; CPA/CA/CMA/CFP are preferred. The role offers exposure to US GAAP, cross-functional collaboration, and a pathway to leadership.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a B.Com / B.C.S / M.Com / MBA / BBA or similar commerce/accounting degree.
• 7+ years of finance experience with strong reporting and accounting skills.
• Professional certifications (CPA/CA/CMA/ACPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements on a timely basis.
• Input journal entries and aggregate actual vs forecast data.
• Develop commentary on forecast changes and deviations.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Coordinate with tax, treasury and regional finance teams.
• Generate financial reports for business review and decision making.
• Conduct cost investigations and recommend profitability improvements.
