Flextronics - The Flex Company seeks an Assistant Manager Finance for its Mechanical Plant in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will oversee consolidation, journal entries, and forecasting to support business needs and ensure accurate reporting across units.

Qualified candidates typically hold a commerce degree with 7+ years of finance experience and relevant certifications (CPA/CMA/CA). The role involves collaboration with tax, treasury, and regional finance teams to drive cost-saving opportunities and

Qualifications

7+ years of finance experience.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in commerce or related field.
Professional certification preferred (CPA/CMA/CA/CGMA/CFP).

Responsibilities

Assist in the timely preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
Input journal entries.
Aggregate and prepare actual and forecast financial data.
Compare the current forecast against the prior forecast.
Develop detailed commentary to changes in forecasts and deviations from financial metrics.
Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit activities.
Advise on corporate accounting policies, US GAAP and BS recons.
Liaise between corporate tax, treasury and regional/local finance managers.
Generate financial reports for review by business team.
Conduct cost investigation as required.
Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profitability improvement strategies.
