Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate to support month-end closing, cost allocation, and accrual processes. You will ensure accurate reporting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial controls.

Responsibilities include variance analysis, SAP monitoring of daily spending, revenue reconciliation, and preparation of weekly and monthly reports. The role offers exposure to budgeting cycles, AOP support, and external reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification.
1–2 years of related working experience.
Able to adapt to changing processes and deadlines.
Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Month-end closing activities, costs allocation, spending accrual, and related tasks.
Prepare month end closing reporting package.
Variance analysis (Actual vs AOP).
Monitor daily operation spending via SAP system.
Revenue reconciliation on a weekly basis.
Prepare weekly revenue reports to BU (GBU).
Prepare weekly Profit and Loss projections by BU.
Support quarterly tax provisions and external reporting.
Assist with AOP and quarterly rolling forecasts.
Escalate important issues to supervisor; perform other duties as assigned.
