Job summary

Verdant Solar in Selangor, Malaysia is offering a Finance Intern position to gain hands-on exposure across the finance function. You will report to a senior finance team member and contribute to ongoing ERP transition and year-end reporting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with ERP exposure, strong Excel and Word skills, and good communication. This hybrid role comes with a monthly allowance and potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Internship experience in audit preferred.
• Exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas) and proficiency in Word.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the ongoing system transition, including data migration support.
• Support preparation of financial statements and the Annual Report.
• Assist in preparation of management reporting items.
• Support Accounts Receivable tasks, including following up with customers on outstanding receivables.
• Provide general ad-hoc administrative support to the finance team.
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day finance tasks.

We're looking for a Finance Intern to join our team and gain hands‑on exposure across Finance as a whole. You'll report directly to our Senior Finance team member and play a part in key initiatives including our ERP system transition and year‑end financial reporting
