Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team in Selangor. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years in AP or similar roles, with strong Excel skills.

Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and QuickBooks is a plus. You will process invoices, payments, reconciliations, and support month-end activities while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment requests accurately and timely.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors according to company policies and payment schedules.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or outstanding issues.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely settlement of outstanding payables.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Support audit requests by providing relevant documentation and information.
• Assist in transfer pricing documentation, analysis, and compliance requirements as assigned.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance-related duties as required by management.
