Job summary

PBA Systems (M) Sdn Bhd, Kota Kemuning, Selangor, is seeking an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Executive to support monthly management accounts and financial reporting. The role offers responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with open bases in Bayan Lepas, Penang, or Kota Kemuning.

The position requires either a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance, with 1–5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold relevant accounting qualifications and be detail-oriented.
• Experience with budgeting and variance analysis is a plus.
• Proficiency in English with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management reports and financial analysis for management review.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyse revenue, margins, operating expenses, and profitability trends.
• Prepare cost analysis and support management in evaluating business performance.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare dashboard reports.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
