Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Leader based in Malaysia. The role drives month-end and year-end closes, budgeting, forecasting, and effective cash management while overseeing the GL, AR/AP and inventory functions.

The ideal candidate has a robust SAP ERP background, 8+ years in finance, and a track record of leading high-performing teams within manufacturing or EMS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing, EMS or MNC environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP / SAP Financial System.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and internal controls.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual financial closing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly variance analysis.
• Manage GL, journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and financing activities.
• Oversee AR, AP and inventory management.
• Manage banking relationships, loans and credit facilities.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Lead, supervise and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
