Job summary

Jora Malaysia offers a finance role responsible for maintaining full sets of accounts and ensuring compliance with MFRS and Malaysian tax laws.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, perform variance analysis, and coordinate with auditors and tax agents. A strong background in accounting software and Excel is essential for accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MIA membership) preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in finance/administrative roles, Malaysian SME or MNC advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS and Malaysian tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR) in compliance with MFRS.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis for management review.
• Handle quarterly GST/SST submissions, tax estimations, and liaise with auditors.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (CP204, CP500, Form E).
• Oversee fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting.

• 4.Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
• 5.Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (CP204, CP500, Form E, etc.) and compliance with all tax regulations.
• 6.Oversee fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• 7.Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MIA membership) is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in a similar finance and administrative capacity, preferably in a Malaysian SME or MNC environment.

Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of MFRS, Malaysian tax laws, and statutory requirements.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, UBS, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
