Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Finance Accounting professional to maintain MIS systems, deliver timely management reports, and support planning processes. The role involves coordinating information requests across Group and business units, and contributing to process improvements.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel, VBA, SQL, and data visualization skills, plus the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and participate in cross functional arrangements.

Qualifications

• Degree / Professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer/Information Science or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in MIS/Business Finance or related functions.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with VBA, SQL, Qlikview, Python, Microsoft Power Platform (eg. Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI), etc will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse stakeholder group.
• Proactive team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to foster collaboration with internal and external parties.
• Willing to accept cross functional arrangement and job rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MIS systems (MYFDM data warehouse and OFSA).
• Deliver management reports to Group and business/support units on a timely basis.
• Coordinate and handle management information requested by Group and business/support units.
• Participate in projects and process improvements.
• Support annual operational planning process and other corporate exercises.
