Job summary

Scania Malaysia is seeking a field-service professional to install, maintain, and repair customer-ordered products at client sites. You will apply specialized product knowledge to guide customers and support sales staff while managing multiple product markets.

Responsibilities include product demos, service information, installations, maintenance, and resolving issues. You will schedule work, ensure safety compliance, and build strong customer relationships through proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Typically requires relevant experience and completion of technical training.
• Demonstrated high-level product and process knowledge of a technical nature.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate basic product features using predefined scripts.
• Provide product/service information and respond to customer questions.
• Carry out simple installation tasks under supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs under supervision.
• Address basic customer issues and escalate when needed.
• Follow mandatory procedures for quality, safety, and compliance.
• Contact and build rapport with allocated customers via calls or in person.
• Clarify customer requirements using standard scripts.
• Schedule and organize daily work in line with priorities.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental guidelines.
