Job summary

MENGKEBANG RUBBER COMPANY SDN BHD in Kelantan invites applications for a Field Supervisor to oversee daily field work on our oil palm plantations. You will supervise harvesting activities, manage workers, and ensure safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of plantation experience, holds an SPM or equivalent, and demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills. This role requires outdoor work and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in oil palm plantation operations.
• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent (e.g., Certificate/Diploma in Agriculture, Plantation, or related fields).
• Basic knowledge of oil palm harvesting and field operations.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Able to supervise local and foreign workers.
• Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in plantation conditions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driving licence is an advantage.
• Responsible, disciplined, hardworking, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily oil palm field operations, especially FFB harvesting and collection.
• Ensure harvesting meets required standards.
• Monitor workers' attendance, productivity, and quality against targets.
• Plan and allocate workers according to daily needs.
• Supervise activities: harvesting, pruning, manuring, spraying, weeding, and estate ops.
• Conduct regular field inspections to meet estate standards.
• Monitor FFB collection and evacuation for quality and minimal losses.
• Prepare daily work records, attendance, production, and field reports.
• Ensure proper use of estate tools, fertilisers, chemicals, and materials.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE, and company rules.
• Assist Estate Manager in planning and monitoring field ops.
• Motivate workers to achieve daily productivity targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Field Supervisor to join our oil palm plantation operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily field activities, managing workers, monitoring work quality, and ensuring plantation operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily oil palm field operations, particularly FFB harvesting and collection.
• Ensure harvesting is carried out according to the required harvesting standards.
• Monitor workers' attendance, productivity, work quality, and daily work targets.
• Plan and allocate workers according to daily operational requirements.
• Supervise field activities such as harvesting, pruning, manuring, spraying, weeding, road and drain maintenance, and other estate operations.
• Conduct regular field inspections and ensure work is completed according to estate standards.
• Monitor FFB collection and evacuation to ensure minimal losses and good fruit quality.
• Prepare and maintain daily work records, attendance, production, and field activity reports.
• Ensure proper use and control of estate tools, equipment, fertilizers, chemicals, and other materials.
• Ensure workers comply with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company rules.
• Assist the Assistant Estate Manager / Estate Manager in planning and monitoring field operations.
• Manage and motivate workers to achieve daily productivity and operational targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
