Job summary

Veolia Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain water treatment equipment at customer sites across Malaysia. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and optimize system performance while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will train customers on operation, prepare detailed service reports and support billing with the Customer Service team. The role requires hands-on experience with water treatment processes, mechanical and electrical

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in related field.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with water treatment systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain water treatment equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process issues.
• Conduct water quality testing and optimize system performance.
• Provide technical training to customers on system operation.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with procurement team.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
• Work with Customer Service for billing on delivered jobs and ad hoc projects across Malaysia.
